What is the story behind the establishment of BluWave Technologies and how did you become involved in the business? 

We founded BluWave in 2018 to respond to the need in the manufacturing industry for electronic record keeping and KPI dashboards to achieve and maintain operational excellence. Too many companies still use pen and paper reporting systems and react to information after the fact. BluWave provides real-time solutions to help document and manage business results proactively.

Who are BluWave Technologies customers? 

We have been helping manufacturers, including food manufacturing companies with food safety, quality, and operations data management, to achieve operational excellence since the beginning. In fact, we also have a lot of food industry contacts.  

How is BluWave Technologies helping manufacturers improve and maintain food quality and safety?  

BluWave helps companies digitize food safety and quality record-keeping, along with operations data. This significantly reduces record-keeping errors and time requirements. 

We also help manufacturers identify the critical KPI’s they should measure in the areas of Safety, Quality, Yield and Productivity. We then capture the data electronically and report the results in real time KPI Dashboards so companies can optimize performance throughout the day and trend results for higher-level decision making. 

What solutions are you providing manufacturers to empower plant floor employees, managers, and executives to succeed and achieve operational excellence? 

Digitized record keeping systems, customized reporting, and KPI dashboards to provide visualization of results in real time. Data can also be analyzed in many ways including overlaying lines or plants to compare performance. This engages employees and provides incentives to drive continuous performance improvements. 

Dashboards can also provide SPC data with targets and upper/lower control limits to drive improved process control. All results can be displayed on monitors on the plant floor and in break rooms to get employees engaged to produce maximum results.
