COVID clean training is a $15 nationally recognised training in infection prevention and control, designed for the retail, tourism, transport and logistics, hospitality, cleaning, security services and health (aged care and disability services) sectors. To enrol in COVID clean training, speak with a registered training provider delivering for your industry. The Safe Work Australia website (www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au) provides a central hub of work, health and safety (WHS) guidance and tools that Australian workplaces can use to form the basis of their management of health and safety risks posed by COVID-19.
COVID-19 – Public Health Directions and COVIDSafe plans Australian food businesses need to be aware that most businesses and organisations are now required to prepare COVIDSafe Plans (or similar). Many of these requirements have been brought in under public health or emergency management directions, or to meet jurisdictional WHS requirements. The Safe Work Australia website now includes links to enforceable government health and emergency directions, as well as COVIDSafe plans for each state and territory.
